Victim assistance programs and compensation.

Oregon Department of Justice – Crime Victim and Survivor Services: Oregon Crime Victims’ Compensation (CVC) Program was created to assist victims of violent crime with expenses associated with the crime. This includes domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, robbery, assault, homicide, or other compensable crime resulting in a physical or psychological injury.

Through OVC, the Fund supports a broad array of programs and services that focus on helping victims in the immediate aftermath of crime and continuing to support them as they rebuild their lives.

After more than 35 years, we remain the most comprehensive national resource committed to advancing victims’ rights and helping victims of crime rebuild their lives.

Victim Connect Resource Center: Victim Connect Resource Center (VCRC) is a program of the National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC), a nonprofit organization that advocates for victims’ rights, trains professionals who work with victims, and serves as a trusted source of information on victims’ issues.
